Persona 5 - Chrismas Shopping Help

Does anyone play or know of the game Persona 5?

It seems to have been released as a 12, 16, 18 and another as M (for mature)

My cousin wants the version rated 18 for Christmas but I can only find the 16. Is there much difference between in content between the two?

Someone on Amazon is selling the M version for £60 which is £20 more than the Do more mature versions of games usually cost more?

I suspect you're looking at different rating systems. As far as I'm aware (and I play a fair amount of games, just not this one personally) games don't tend to release different versions for different ratings (although occasionally different country versions have slight differences that affect ratings).

Persona 5 is rated "M" by ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board, a US-based organsation) and "16" by PEGI (Pan-European Game Information). PEGI ratings are legally enforceable in the UK, having replaced BBFC ratings for games in 2012. As far as I can tell, the actual content of the game is identical between the US and EU/UK releases.

That is interesting! I never knew that there was such little difference.

So if I buy the game here which is rated 16 by PEGI, he won't be disappointed?
