Just wondered if anyone had some info on something I have seen over the past couple of days.
Driving home from work last night from Newport Pagnell to Milton Keynes I was following a huge trailer with what looked like a tanker on a low loader (hard to tell as it was dark and covered in a tarpaulin) and only had a small amount showing
Once closer I recognised this to be a driving car of a Pendolino (impressed myself is recognising it mindst!)
When travelling home tonight on the same stretch of road I saw a similar low loader, this time with what looked like a train carriage on it - can only assume Pendolino (it had only the end open as the rest was covered) but looked about the right profile.
Last night would have been about 18:30 and tonight was 18:15 and for anyone who knows MK, it was on the H3 heading towards the A5 - on both occasions I passed it after I think what is the junction with V11 (don't quote me on that though)
I was wondering if anyone knew why this movement came through MK and whether they are damaged stock, repaired stock or some of the new stock which is on order, and where they are likely to be heading for?
