Optare Solo Hybrid

I'm currently on an Optare Solo hybrid. For some reason, every now and again, I can hear the diesel engine revving very hard when the bus is stopped. It sounds like it's trying to climb a hill in the wrong gear.

Any idea why this might be? I haven't experienced this on ADL or Wright hybrids.

Probably low battery, so the engine revs up to generate energy.

I've heard our Enviro350H's (Same drive train as the E400H) do it a few times before
