Oldest livery still in service?

I was assuming as first painted - i.e. excluding repaints or retro liveries.

So a 08 in BR blue as painted in say 1974 would be spot on.

A class 37 repainted into BR large logo blue in say 2018 would not count.

Yes - it's in retro British Railways 2 tone green. It's had BR monastral blue, intercity mainline (my 1980's and 1990's photos are packed away but they do include it). I think I also.have a photo of it in blue with full yellow cabs, small numbers and small logo.

Monastral (BR) blue was mentioned in this thread earlier. As well as those examples - class 08s - I forgot this (strictly speaking, it's a retro repaint, as 73142 was painted into Imtercity and then, as 73201, into the Gatwick Express livery variant)

It got phased out by the end of 2021 unfortunately, the new livery is similar but there's no red this time

Did South West Trains change their livery at all, as I'd imagine there will be 455s first painted into that livery in the late 90s, still looking much the same other than the Southwestern logo stuck on the side.

No SWT started repaints into blue with white and orange stripes, all changed to red during refurb about decade ago

For coaches, I think unless anything is still running around in ex-BR liveries (and I can't think of anything that is), CrossCountry wins with their Mk3s, which have been painted in their livery since 2008.

Yes it is. The OP's opening post mentions "revenue earning service", which excludes all those lovely old non revenue vehicles

No, there's only a handful still in existence. One was displayed in the NEC at the last Warley Model Rail Show before Covid.

Yep, they were rolled out with a yellow stripe running the length of the unit on either side, sharply curving up at each cab end. All remaining units are now just in plain red livery. One 325 (012) was scrapped in 2012, long before this livery change occurred.
