NYC Transit has a new president. Andy Byford - who'd previously worked for LU / TfL, Southern, Southeastern, NSW's Railcorp and then Toronto Transit Commission - is now in charge of (trying to) modernise NYC's subway. Good luck to him. I think that's going to be one hell of a job.
