Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Class 55 Deltics onto the East Coast Mainline.
A unique chance to see the Deltic Protoype and all six production Deltic Locomotives reunited.
Plus demonstration movements, cab access (to selected locomotives) and more

I was there today and 55015 had just been delivered by road. I helped a guy put some plastic covering over the headcode indicator panel as it had broke on the journey up here . Apparently 55022will be bringing the other deltics tommorow about 4 ish.

Just a quick note to say that the NRM,DPS,Martin Walker,Beaver Sports (Yorks) Ltd and everyone else did a really great job in putting on this event. I had a great day out and it was wonderful t osee the 7 locomotives together.

The locomotives looked good, the demonstartion runs were a good touch and the mass start up on Sunday afternoon was incredible and i have taken loads of photos that will be uploaded ot flickr later on.

Just wanted to say thanks to all involved for a great day out - well done!

Indeed, although the weather was terrible on the Saturday it was magnificent to see all seven together. Thanks to everyone who made it all possible.
