Nottingham Tram Timetable Query

Hello all,

I've recently been tinkering with NET timetable data, with the intention of adding timetables of the network to the RailwayData website. One thing that is confusing me a little, is a number of late night/early morning journeys that don't appear on the official NET PDF timetable online, but do appear on journey planners such as Traveline & Google.

For example, there are number of short runs between Hucknall & Wilkinson Street that aren't shown on the NET timetable (timetables attached as images). Does anyone know whether these are passenger services, or are they empty moves that have been erroneously included in the timetable data.

NETs timetables are useless. There are quiet a few short services back to either Wilkinson St (from Hucknall/Phoenix Park) or Shipstone Street (from Clifton/Toton) that aren’t shown in the timetable.

I can confirm they are public services, and I presume the reason they don’t show them in the timetable is because they follow almost directly behind (timetabled to be 2 mins) a tram doing the full route. I believe the ones for which this isn’t the case are generally shown in the timetable

Indeed. I just turn up and hope for the best usually. The Shipstone Street ones in the evenings used to be a real win when I lived near University Boulevard and took the tram often, as either the one in front was absolutely rammed (and the Shipstone St would turn up basically empty) or if I'd just missed a Hucknall and only had to wait a minute or so.
