Hi,

Simple question: I have a photo of a windmill taken from a train somwhere on the NNR. It is on the coast, brick built and white sails, across some fields from the railway. I think it is between Holt and Weybourne. Anyone know where?

Also, if anyone had a timetable from last year for the NNR could they please let me know as I need to find something out from then.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

The windmill is in the village of Weybourne, almost a mile from Weybourne station, and as you say visible from the railway over the fields (from both sides of Weybourne if I remember correctly).

If its the yellow(?) timetable with an all day diesel turn I can tell you what time the diesel departures were and you should be able to work out the opposite steam departures from that. Same for the high season timetable, but only the late afternoon when the diesel is allowed out to play.
