Booked with Norse Atlantic before 2nd September and it would cost to bring a 10kg cabin bag. But if you book after 2nd September it's free. Surely this is not fair?

Those were the conditions in place when you booked, and presumably you were prepared to pay for the cabin bag. So I'm not sure why it would be unfair to be charged what you were told you would be charged?

Sure, it would be nice of them to waive the fee but I cannot see any moral, let alone legal, obligation to do so.

It's ok I suppose they trying to get as much as they can off people at the time. Still cheaper than others. Just asked the question and I and I suppose many others would of been annoyed. Did or do you work for them by any chance

No, I have never worked in the airline industry. Nor would I consider flying with Norse Atlantic, as it feels like a false economy given their financial instability and the frequency with which they've closed down unprofitable routes (no doubt refusing to rebook onto their competitors for affected customers).

I think the way you have to look at it is that people who waited until after 2 September to book (who now benefit from the change in policy) risked the fare going up. You booked earlier and locked in your (presumably cheap?) price by doing so.

Customers with bookings made before 2nd September can add the additional hand luggage for free online.
