I've not yet had the joys of such a experience but shovelling snow in the middle of the night, freezing while you're doing it.

Still, last time we had some snow, a snowman turned up on the platform so seeing it there, I decided to get a photo of it with a hi vis just for laughs.

And before anyone comments, I was not the responsible party for building the snowman, I just turned up for the morning shift to see it there.

Well come down to my station the next few nights and killfrost the platforms for me and I see what I can do for you,

Only issue is, I can only serve tea or coffee as FCC don't supply hot chocolate.

If it was tea or coffee then you would be okay but hot chocolate sadly is not available.

thats rich,how many times have i ,over the years passed a pway van,with all the pway staff tucked up asleep or drinking tea,in the above,said elements!

Maintenance maybe, not Renewals, and in any case its normally the signalling engineers who are asleep in the vans
