Do any toc/focs provide night time route learning videos? Just curious as the route changes so much in the dark and different things become more/less prominent. I've never seen any, always been bright sunny days!

My TOC does not, but we are permitted to do dark hours route learning, dark hours are part of the passout process for trainees.

Videos are intended to be an aid to route learning and not replace actually travelling over a route so night videos wouldn't really be of much benefit. I've never seen route learning videos filmed at night but you should make an effort to travel over a route you're learning during darkness.

Going to Hull from Selby over 10 years ago when I was a driver, at night you could actually get a red signal following a green one. This was because the intermediate semaphore distant signal was so poorly lit and positioned, it was almost not visible at all at night. This was especially pointed out during route learning with the added comment ”nobody ever does anything about it!”
