It makes no difference. Sure, you can upload better quality vids, but they're reduced in quality anyway.

Yes you do, but you can upload better quality videos. Thus better quality in general now. Also the upload time will be extended soon. So make uploading videos much better.

There are very few youtool videos I would want to watch more than ten minutes of.

You say 10 minutes is the limit, yet i have worked plently of vides longer than that, 1 is almost 20 minutes long
I hink Youtube is great, you can find loads of good things like music videos and memorable Motorsport moments like the last 2 laps of Daytona

Thing with Youtube, like a lot of the internet, it's got loads of crap, but some really great stuff too, and it's just a case of sifting through tofind that great stuff. The talent of some of the people who've produced stuff on there is amazing, some times it's hard to tell what is the professional stuff people have just uploaded and what they've made themselves.
