Hi Everyone,

New here,

I recently found an old VHS tape in the attic containing footage from the early 2000's from my days train spotting when I was around 10 years old. The footage is shot mostly around Tees Yard and the long gone Thornaby Depot in the Northeast of England. I have created a new Youtube channel and I aim to share the footage documenting routine daily workings around the yard and depot, showing routine class 08 shunting operations, aging EWS traction including class 37’s, Class 56’s and class 60’s, along with the recently introduced EWS Class 66’s.

There is also footage shot at Durham Station on the East Coast Main Line in the early 2000's, showing GNER class 91 and HST services as well as Virgin Cross Country HST’s and newly introduced Virgin Voyager services.

Thers is also footage shot during a day trip to Barnetby Station, in the early 2000’s.

I currently only have a few videos shot around Tees Yard and Thornaby Depot uploaded. I will aim to get the rest uploaded in the next few weeks.

I hope you enjoy the content and the trip down memory lane.
