I noted the new trams for the expansion of Metrolink are arriving, based on the modular Bombarider Fleixty design. I couldnt help notice despite the obvious feeling of the Croydon trams the new livery applied. It looks very similar to that used by MerseyTravel and is a distinct move away from the traditional teal and white, is it wise having such a similar livery in the North West?

3001 has been in an incident already.

The brakes were isolated (I don't know why) and it rolled into the depot smashing into another tram, damaging the other trams coupler and 3001s front fender. 3001 was loaded with bags of sand at the time for full load tests.

3002 arrived on Saturday.
