New stanchions on platform at South Ealing ... what for?

New slate-coloured and very sturdy-looking posts have appeared on both platforms of South Ealing (Picc, zone 3) but there's already lighting and CCTV only a few feet away so I wondered what they might be for?

2024TS platform monitoring cameras, new equipment for new trains.
S Stock had similar new installations as previous equipment was obsolete.
