I am pleased to announce the commencement of a project to bring Merseyside (I've become kind of obsessed with Merseyside during the last week or so 
) to OpenTTD. It has had a rocky start (laptop crashing twice, and less seriously Birkenhead Park being destroyed by the town itself), but is looking good so far. And I have set the flat land level at 2 to allow for players to tunnel under the River Mersey (which as a result of the levelling is slightly untidy, by which I mean there are a few sharp corners on its banks where rivers can only occupy entire tiles; see attachment below), with the Queensway and Kingsway tunnels already extant.
I will let you all know when it is finished, and will try to upload it as a .zip folder.
