Proposed new rail yard for Inverness at the UHI campus.

Anybody know any more information?

Will this replace or be in addition to the existing rail yard infrastructure?

The council's planning papers had mentioned the project would also include a rail yard, but the local authority said this had been added in error.

So I wouldn't put too much effort into trying to find out more at this stage - maybe it's an idea that just isn't going to happen.
