The Blue Pullman looks interesting.

Is it going to be available in 00 gauge too?

That's a well thought out and brilliant set announced. The VEP and Blue Pullman will be fantastic.

Yes, Bachmann will be producing the 6 carriage Midland Blue Pullman in 00 gauge, due to be released at the end of this year, which will be fantastic.

Good to see that such an iconic train is being released in both 00 and N :)

just an amendment - its a 4CEP not 4VEP, my error...
But they're also doing the class 14 in NCB colours, but looks like in a train set only...

That is somthing to look forward too! :)

Wonder what liveries they'll come in. Hopefully the original blue, or the latter white and blue stripe with yellow cab ends? Either way as you said it is nice to see such an iconic train being modelled. :)

The 00 Gauge model will be available in original naking blue initially for definite. It's expected to retail at £289.99 for a six carriage set. Anyway, I'll keep my 00 gauge tendencies out of this N gauge thread...

No news on the price on the N gauge model. But 290 quid for the OO model! Blimey not cheap...

It certainly isn’t. And I wouldn’t bet against the release being pushed back to 2012 and the price breaking the £300 mark. By producing the full six carriage train as a single piece, in all it’s all singing, all dancing, DCC and internal carriage lighting glory, Bachmann can reap the rewards of charging through the nose for it. It’s earmarked to be a very high spec model and I really want one, but I remember not so long ago when I thought that £100 for my four carriage Dapol Pendolino was pushing it a bit price wise…

Are they doing a BR livery one in a set too? I have a birthday in June, and a 14 is required!
