New DLR route now open

Hello everyone,

Just a quick note to say that today, 31st August 2011, the Docklands Light Railway route between Canning Town and Stratford International finally opened. I know this because I travelled on part of the line!

Apologies but there are no photos (yet) as they are still in the camera.

Glad to hear it's finally open, the DLR Projects site would only say 'summer 2011' and the bus link ends in 3 weeks. As I travel from Essex (on NXEA) to Kent (on the HS Service) I use the route frequently.

I'm in London tomorrow so will take camera for a spin.
