New BLS charters 17/18th August

Hello all three new charters have dropped for booking on the BLS site Saturday 17 Derby start with a 69 along to Leicester then reversal using 2 20s across to Peterborough then up to Lincoln diathermy diveunder, calling in at Monk Bretton glass works finishing at York
Sunday there are three trips to Drax power station loop using DB,GBRF and Freightliner locos in that order, after returning to York just after 8pm the last train using (i assume) the same 20s and 69 back to Derby getting there at midnight via Matby colliery site
All very nice of course but the cost of accommodation in York on a Saturday night in August is substantial
Either way I'm sure the Sunday Drax trains will be a sell out no bother

The cost of accommodation in York on a Saturday night is substantial between March & December (maybe even January + February as it gets year round tourists & drinkers)

Had the Pathfinder tour in October time not been heading to Monk Bretton I might have been a bit more interested, at least the Pathfinder drops off at the same stations where it starts rather than the passengers having to fork out the cost of train tickets from York to Derby/Leicester/Peterborough for those just doing the Saturday tour (and who will be foolish to book advance tickets when the timings are still provisional)
