Mystery objects at Upper Holloway

At Upper Holloway, there are some objects in the crossover and also on the goods loop just West of the station. Does anyone know what these are? I have attached a picture to help.

Do you mean all the securing nuts and bolts within the crossover area that connect the long concrete bearers together? It’s a feature of many pre-assembled track panels that are delivered from the factory on those big yellow tilting wagons.

No problem. They’d probably be much more obvious if you were much nearer and looking straight down, when newly delivered there‘s usually a fairly shiny metal sleeve around the ends of the long bearers, but once the dirty ballast obscures everything they’ll be harder to distinguish.
