Hi,

This morning I was delayed on a GWR train coming from the west into Paddington. I was then further delayed by problems on the Elizabeth line.

Despite trying to pay attention, I am not sure I can claim from GWR for the longer time period, or separately with GWR and TFL (and TFL line might reject, due to them not allowing for many circumstances unlike trains)?

I shouldn't do both, because TFL would refund 100%, but their process sounds slow and there is the cybersecurity incident (I have an unregistered card), so not sure how to best proceed.

You claim Delay Repay for your total journey delay, ie how late you were at your journey’s end. You claim from the first operator to delay you in the chain.
Any connections between trains need to be within minimum connection times at the change point(s), in order for it to be considered a single journey.
On the face of it, although you haven’t provided much information, you’d be claiming from GWR based on the delay in arrival at wherever you were going to on the Elizabeth line.
