MPVs at Guildford

Anyone know any details of MPV workings around Guildford this week?

Ive noticed quite a bit of movement on the Guildford >> Guildford London Road section today. So unless there is more than one descending on Guildfords today or this week, there is quite a bit of reversing going on in the area.

Its now passed the site four times in the last 40 minutes (twice in each direction)

They work out of Effingham junction

Can't speak for Guildford but last year the mainline between Woking and Basingstoke saw several workings on each of the four lines throughout the week. They've just started running again this year. Sometimes you'll see one go up on the slow, followed just minutes later by one on the fast travelling in the same direction. Seen them loitering in Woking yard (up side) in pairs on a number of occasions.

They are supposed to do each circuit once a day at least

So from the minimal timing information noted above, would you say more than one was oeprating around Guildford, even though they are passing up and down the same line several times in an hour?

They will of course pass over the same stretch of track several times, but not all of them will be spraying.
