Module 2 exam case studies

Hi everyone,
I have my case study exam next Tuesday



A bit worried really as there is much out there to study or examples for PSV.
Can anyone give me any advice on the subject.
I did well on Mod a/b scoring high marks and was wondering is it basically this again but put into scenarios?
Any help would be apreciaited.
Im also studying section 2 and 3 of dvsa buses and coaches.

Hello there,

The Module 2 Case Studies test isn’t really anything to worry too much about if you did well on the Module 1 Q&A. It is, as you suggest, just putting that knowledge into a scenario. You will be presented with a number of scenarios and then be asked a number of questions about each one. For example, it might ask how much longer Fred can drive under EU Regs before he needs to take a break. The scenario might have told you he has already done two hours driving, which will allow you to then calculate the answer. You can refer back to the scenario at any time - it isn’t a memory test!

It gives you a scenario, and asks you questions about the scenario.
As long as you’ve revised for the Q&A module and up to scratch on that it’s straight forward.

Have they changed it so you actually have to read the case studies now?

When I last did it (nearly 7 years ago), it was effectively a shorter theory test with some case studies thrown in to make it look a bit different - you could answer all the questions easily without needing to look at the case study part.

I took mine in July, you get around 8-10 stories, each with 5 or 10 questions which surround rules and regulations that are covered in the story. It’s basically the theory test but in scenarios.
