Seeing as this is all fantasy as we know money never gets spent in the east mids. Current P1,2 get used for east west services, P3,4 used for IC services either P0 or P5 for terminators/extra capacity. Flying junction north and south of leicester. 4 track syston-wigston. And while were at it do midlands rail hub east and have an electrified all stopping service, Birmingham-Derby-Notts-leicester. Clockwise and anti clockwise. Then we'd truly get a 21st century rail network in the midlands. (Plus full mml electrification, plus xc route electrification.)
