Every 7-10 minutes is hardly an express journey and door arrangement is irrelevant for stations like Ashley as so few people use it (unless the train is overloaded). On some services you can hear the door close sound at Ashley less than 10 seconds after the door opening sound. At busy stations like Halifax and Bradford Interchange the door formation will make a difference to loading speeds.
Have you seen how generous the dwell times are in Victoria for the Chester trains? Oxford Road it ain't.
I think there may be a crew change there, so whether the crews have their own desginated doors might affect how long it needs to be stopped there. Even with 3-4 minutes stopped there, it might not be that generous if 158s were used.
