If anyone has been down the MML recently, you would of noticed there's construction just before the flyover, does anyone know whats going on? Or is it just a simple bridge being replaced?

TIA.

class 313, are you referring to the construction works near the RAF museum by any chance? If so then it's because the 2 railway bridges over Aerodrome Road (where the red circle is) have been replaced and work to widen the road underneath is ongoing; the aforementioned flyover is located next to the A5150.

As for the new station you mentioned Richard, it won't be built for years as it is merely part of a significant plan (currently under development) to regenerate the Brent Cross/Cricklewood area.

Thanks, that what I thought when I read the FCC website as to why I have to go to St Pancras High Level each time I go to work.

I remember reading that London Colney will get a FCC station under TL2000... Is this still going ahead Edvid?

I do remember that as part of the Midland Main Line / East Midlands Route Utilisation Strategy of March 2004 there was an appendix for suggestions that were mentioned as part of the consultation process (see PDF page 62) - back then the SRA stated that an initial business case was yet to be compiled by stakeholders in relation to a potential new station (south of St Albans) at Napsbury.

It's about as close I can get to anything about London Colney (in addition I think it would have been developed separately of Thameslink 2000) - in any case I've heard nothing about it since then so presumably it won't happen any time soon. However a new town known as Wixams is being built just south of Bedford (work started last year I think) and the developers in question are seeking to get a new station built there (albeit not as part of the Thameslink Programme).
