the straight route into T-h is the lower speed of the two (15mph), but is actually the diverging route that has a No.4 indicator that is the higher speed crossover (20 mph)

erm......maybe, not been there for 4 years, thought it was the other way round.

Apparently Network Rail are planning to increase the linespeed (to as much as 125mph) on certain stretches of the MML. Does anyone know what the planned increased linespeeds are, and where they will be implemented?

Hopefully some parts between St Pancras - Bedford.

Don't have a clue where though.

The idea was to get a 7 to 8 minute saving London - Chesterfield via Derby, best that can be achieved is about 5. Most of it is south of Trent.
