Just having a browse on Google maps (as you do) near Cordoba in Mexico and came across this.
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=e...=mUFGQ9D7K1p02HEmBWq8OA&cbp=11,335.6,,0,-1.61
Tbh I know little or nothing about the railways over there, but I have drawn a few conclusions and raised some questions from this image.
The protection from trespass on the p/way is almost non-existant, with many level crossings in built up areas.
The standard of living seems to be rather poor (low cost housing, little infrastructure).
The 5 locos in this image seem to be of ex-North American origin, the first two at least seem to be GM loco's.
I can't find any stations on the map, is this a freight only line?
What freight might be carried, and from where to where?
