I know that RailMiles does not include light rail such as the Metrolink, LUL and DLR. Is there any way of working out mileage for these?

The Track Atlas does not show light railways at all, never mind their mileage 
Quail does show them, however for Manchester the latest edition will be missing SWR / East Didsbury, Droylesden, and Oldham / Rochdale. It is still decent for all the rest but some of the distance measuring systems they use could be a huge pain to convert (it could well be what is sued in the above link).
