Hi all,
I know nothing about buses, but since starting work in an office opposite Smithfield Market I have been using route 4 from Waterloo to Barbican as I am in no particular rush, it's always a lot quieter than the tube and it's not a bad ride. My question is what buses run this route? Occasionally there has been a fairly modern looking bus with black headlight surrounds, however it is mostly an older looking bus with rectangular headlights. The reason I ask is that there appear to be different types of this older bus that look exactly the same from the outside, but inside one has just one row of seats at the front on the upper deck, and the other has several rows of seats with the stairs being set further back. Are they the same type of bus from two different batches or totally different makes/models?
