Manchester meet

It was an excellet meet, but I can't be bothered to write a report

Thanks to everyone who turned up!

No thanks to Metrocammel and Voyagerdude220 who failed to turn up!! :neutral: your loss!! Those of you who couldn't make it but did let us know, no worries, you missed a good trip though!

We probably won't do another Manchester meet again, but a Liverpool area meet is planned for the Summer (Alex is organising this)

On the Voyager via the rare Middlewich line there were a couple of 'treats' including a transvestite and someone who seemed to want to talk to Mushroom constantly for the entire trip and wouldn't leave him alone for a second!!

A certain person lost his wallet and managed to get away with using a GM Ranger and a letter from Northern from Northern for the entire day! Fortunately he got it back today as it was handed in to lost property at Hull (I won't say who it was )

Sounded like a great day (particularly the transvestite ) I was looking forward to it, but I do plan to go to Liverpool in the Summer Glad you all had a good time!

Certainly a great day, as I was saying to Mushroom today it's the first time I've ever said that a Voyager was the best part, what with the talkative gentleman (I see he's ended up on a certain blog) and the little erm... 'glimpse' that caused riotous laughter from our table.
Had a great time on my first meet, hope to see some of you again soon.

Glad to hear it went well, whether I did well and truly miss out its for you lot to decide and for me to assume for myself.

it's a shame that most decent traction has long gone from Manchester - used to be all sorts. HSTs, 47s, 90s (I think). Bit of a shame that the 87s seemed to fizzle out with little celebration of their good times
