I would like to go from Macclesfield to Crewe via Stockport but when i look online at fares it wont give me the fare or times to do this this.

Is it possible to go via Stockport?

I know i could go via Kidsgrove but there are no trains for the time that i want to come back.

I need a day ret Fare for 2 adults and 1 child with a family railcard.

Macclesfield to Crewe has two tickets a route Kidsgrove and an Any Permitted. The Any Permitted is valid via Cheadle Hulme and additionally there is an easement in the routing guide which allows you to double back between Cheadle Hulme and Stockport.

30105
Journey from Macclesfield, Prestbury, Adlington, Poynton and Bramhall via Wilmslow may travel via Stockport. This easement applies in both directions.

Cost with Railcard

Off Peak Day Returns - Valid at or after 0930
2 x Adults £18.00
1 x Child £2.60
Total £20.60

Anytime Returns
2 x Adults £18.10
1 x Child £2.60
Total £20.70

Just in case you weren't aware, the 38 bus runs direct from Macclesfield to Crewe hourly, seven days a week, including evenings. That may well be cheaper and possibly more convenient than going through Stockport or Kidsgrove on the train.

An Arriva North West & Wales Family ticket is £10.00 for the Monday - Saturday service

On Sundays & Public Holidays the 38 is run by D&G Travel of Stoke-On-Trent so a Family Ticket would be £8.50.
