Hey all,
Was having a think recently about what Locomotive Services Limited (LSL) overhaul queue looks like for steam locos.
We know that 5029 Nunney Castle has recently come back into service.
46100 Royal Scot has moved to Margate “Awaiting overhaul”.
60019 Bittern has made its way back to Crewe to begin overhaul.
I was wondering if we know anything about any others?
6024 King Edward I was seen in the Green Signals tour of Crewe and seemed fairly complete but nothing has been said (as far as I know) about its return to service.
35022 Holland America Line & 35027 Port line I think are owned by the trust but we don’t hear a lot about them.
6960 Raveningham Hall is at Margate? Are there plans to bring it back?
45231 was withdrawn a couple of years back at the end of its ticket I believe, is this going to Margate to join the queue?
And if I’ve forgotten any? I might have missed news but I only recently came back into the railway world last year and feel it’s easier to ask you guys than trawl through years of articles.
I look forward to any info.
