Longest NX Route

We all know that that the 336 is the longest current National Express service however there was once a service from Inverness to Penzance. In fact there was a proposal to run a service between Thurso and Penzance but that never came to anything. The Inverness service would leave Inverness at about 1830 and arrive Penzance at about 1700 the following day. After further research I have discovered National Express ran a service between Gatwick Airport and Scrabster.

You had to have masochistic tendencies, or no feelings in your buttocks, to willingly make that journey, regardless of the price. Not one I would have considered except in extremis.

I do believe it is, was when I worked at NX even though as you say it now starts from Plymouth, Still one almighty journey. Not one I would do

Did the 336 from Penzance to Glasgow many years ago, was long journey, but good, when there was a rover for the Uk, which now tourist only,
