There's quite a few Night routes with scheduled short runs - N8 on a Saturday night has half the runs turn at Stratford, N18 only 1 in 2 ( 1 in 3 Fri/Sat nights) get to Harrow Weald. On the N207 half get to Uxbridge.
The N26 first few trips start from Walthamstow and the last few end at Walthamstow (rather than Chingford). Only half of N38s on Fri/Sat nights run between Piccadilly Circus and Victoria. On the N98 half of trips terminate or start from Willesden.
On the N199 on weekdays the first trip from Central London starts part way along the route, the last trip finishes short
The night service on the 102 is not numbered differently, but only runs to Golders Green, not Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
On the 154, on days where there is no night service, the last 3 trips from West Croydon only reach Sutton rather than Morden.
The 189 starts short on one trip a day (2 on Sundays) towards Marble Arch.
The 243 has a few trips that start short before and during the morning peak in both directions.
There's also short runs on school days - the 57 and 213 have trips which start short in both directions.
The 43 has occasional journeys scheduled to start or end at Archway.
Arguably all but 8 journeys a week on the 246 run short (all of them in Winter), to Westerham Green rather than Chartwell.
