It's a merger of the Scotland - Birmingham and the Wolverhampton - Euston. Been that way for about 10 years or so IIRC, saves a few units.

Happens every two hours, and pre-Covid there were two Glasgow departures from Euston at the same timings; One, as per the Edinburgh train, running via Birmingham and fulfilling the dual function of a London/West Midlands and West Midlands/Scotland service.
