I think it's quite nice and subtle. Not the most fantastic livery I've ever seen, but far from the worst.

The Class 350 units were ordered just last week, and will be identical to the Class 450 expect they will be 25kV instead of 3rd rail
The first units should arrive and be in service within 18 months

Someone did their own mock-up a while back - I'll see if I can find it. It looked better than the image above IMHO.

I am sure that on the day that the West Midlands franchise was announced, the new London Midland website (www.londonmidland.com) had pictures of trains in their new livery, similar to that shown here.

However, those pics are no longer there. And, I seem to recall reading an interview with Keith Ludeman, the GoVia boss, which hinted at a revival of LMS crimson, in much the same way that GoVia did with Southern.

i know that, actually 350's are dual voltage although i was reading at work that they might remove the shoe gear saving over 3 tonnes a unit in weight, i was saying the mock up says 350 above the window when in fact its a 450, the only visual difference is the shoe gear/ pan and 350's fly doors are all yellow and not half.

coxster is this the page; http://www.trainpics.net/c1230920.html
loving the 350 in nse livery and silverlink.

Damn! With all this talk of "London Midland" I was hoping for a nice LM maroon paintwork- or at least some Electric Blue for the "new generation 304s". Its a pretty dire livery in my opinion- the green is very sickly.

I don't like it.
I think it'd look better all black with green trimming

I like it, hopefully they will paint them in the anti taggin paint like c2c did so we don't get postcodes all over them once they pass Stechford.

And yeh 350s are 450s just dual volts, they even got the paddle in the cabs what 3rdies use. Be nice if they use the Govia thingy to mix a few London Midland and Southern Services using the 350s.
