Hello, I am looking a journey from Llandudno Junction to Chester, returning the same day for three adults with no railcards. It looks like there is no small group discount available, maybe because there is no day return available, just a period return? Is this correct? And if so does anyone have any tips on how the fair could be reduce, split tickets and such? Thanks!

Because there is no day return available, the Small Group Day product that TfW offers on some routes is also unavailable.

Instead buy Llandudno Junction to Wrexham General - £54.40 for 3.

So a day return from Llandudno Junction to Wrexham (via Chester) is cheaper than a day return to Chester (as there are no day returns to Chester) …!

I assume the pricing intends for customers to travel via Shotton and Caergwrle rather than via Chester, but it is permitted and perfectly acceptable to use either route.
