I took a trip on the 392 this afternoon, the Mayne liveried Iveco Ilesbus i-City MAX turned up as referenced above, however the driver acted very strange when passengers came to pay. 3 cash passengers and each time the conversation went like this "Call it 2 quid, I'll keep the ticket" Make of that what you will....

I mentioned this type of behaviour earlier in the thread. I can’t see the service being a financial success if they have commercialised part of it, and fares aren’t making it to the fare box to compensate…..
So do they accept contactless payment now on the 392? I used to like paying £9.00 for 5 single tickets with Little Gem. I think towards the end it was about £7.50?
The single m-tickets got reduced to £1.50 when the TfGM £2 fare cap came in, so presumably they would have lowered the 5 ticket price at the same time.

I wonder if it's really part commercialised or whether someone just selected the wrong option when inputting the registration. I can't see why it would be part commercial unless another operator objected to it partly duplicating their commercial service.
If the tracking on bus times is correct then Belle Vue use Scania N230UD OmniCity YR61 RVK on the 288 if they only have two of Fiat Ducato Bluebird Orions out and if all 3 are out then they over all 280 and 288 journeys.
Does anyone know what Go Goodwins have used on the 391/392 this week? Only one of the Iveco i-Cities has been tracking. The other's vehicle been tracking as a Van Hool TDX29 Astromega, so that may not be right. Although, a former Megabus coach would be fitted with a destination display.
Could be wrong but Bustimes.org shows its still Go Goodwin's and nothing has changed on TfGM's site either. so I am going for "someone has made a change that's not factually correct" to the fleet details on bustimes.org
I saw the 14:50 Stockport to Macclesfield yesterday. It was one of the red Ivecos still in Mayne livery. Bustimes shows a Wright Eclipse running it and the same Wright Eclipse running a service from Harrytown Werneth School, so there's an obvious mistake there, even if you didn't know what ran the 14:50 Stockport to Macclesfield.
As @andrewbowden has said no one has made any annoucement of any changes. Coach hire companies do sometimes help each other out, especially in the summer, so it's possible Belle Vue are loaning drivers to Go Goodwins. I don't know if a Belle Vue driver logging on to a ticket machine for a Go Goodwins route might affect the tracking?
You can tell by the data sources that this isn't Belle Vue loaning drivers.
The ticket machines being used on the 391/392 are Belle Vue ticket machines. You can tell that because timetable data is coming from Belle Vues bus open data which in turn comes from Ticketer. That means in Belle Vues Ticketer portal, they have set up the 391/392.
The buses also started tracking as Belle Vue vehicles.
The 3 possible options that I can think of are either Goodwin's are leasing ticket machines off Belle Vue, Everyone is using TFGMs machines but TFGM haven't set up the Goodwin's machines to be separate, Or Belle Vue has taken over the running of the 391/392 but no registration has gone through yet that I can see.
So no registration changes. And no changes yet listed for the Goodwins companies in Companies House (interestingly Go Goodwins Group Ltd was renamed Mayne Travel Mcr Ltd in June.) So no obvious suggestion that any of the companies have been sold to Belle Vue.
Little Gem used to have their own machines but maybe them only now having two vehicles and not doing any TfGM contracts meant they "lost" them.
There is possibly something more to this - belle vue are about to lose 2 buses work in trafford because of the axing of the 288 and reduction of the 280.
Either Belle Vue thought the Fiat minibuses weren't suitable for the 288, or they've known for a while about the 288, as they returned one of the Fiat minibuses and have been using mainly deckers on the 288 recently. The X5 extension, that will replace the 288, will still require an additional vehicle, so it's possible Warrington's Own Buses won the tender with a bid that proposed it a through service. But then it's also possible TfGM looked at the funding required for an extension and went ahead with that option, instead of awarding a new tender.

So it is an SEO page. I'm surprised it's still ranking in Google as I thought Google tried to penalise websites that try to attract traffic by creating lots of different pages for all the towns they serve.
Going back to who's operating the 391 and 392. I notice the Mayne buses have been tracking on the 391 and 392 recently. While on the 280 Belle Vue have been using a Fiat bus and a decker, with the decker missing out the part of the route via Warbuton. Does the 391 or 392 route have any low bridges? If not, I suspect Belle Vue aren't don't have any say in where the Mayne buses get used.
