I heard that this is good for photting? If you stand on the south of the island platforms. Does anyone here have any photos they have taken?

Lichfield TV is a pretty good station for pendos at speed, as far as I know not many stop there with a few LM trains and some freight on the low level platforms , there is also the cross city service with the possibility of a diverted train on the high level platform. and there is a vending machine in the ticket office so you can get something to eat/drink when there but last time I was there was last year when they still had the signal box

whats the frequency of trains to Phot like? is the freight good

Yup, if your lucky youll get the Derby-WCML stuff, IMO Tamworth is better because you get stuff on the HL

LTV Is great but theres one big big problem...no Choppers :p :D

not always NMT takes that path, anything that moves Derby- anywhere north on the WCML will take that route

Other than the NMT Derby to the north will go via Stoke and Crewe not Lichfield

Quite often the NMT goes down the curve then changes ends in the yard before heading south to Euston. It's become a regular move...
