When travelling in the future, whats the best sort of priced ticket I could get travelling to Middlesbrough from Leeds??

Splitting, advance, anything...

it depends on when you are travelling.
If it's an off-peak day return you are after, then splitting at York helps.

York to South Bank, oddly, is cheaper than York to Middlesbrough.

Leeds-Biddlesbrough advance singles start at £7.50 each, if you can be restricted to a specific train.
A Leeds-Middlesbrough cheap day return is £25.70, a saver is £30.80.
A day return South Milford-York is £9.30, coupled with a £9.70 cheap day return York-Stockton, route not Darlington. This comes to £19.

The York-Stockton, route not Darlington, cheap day return is valid on any trains leaving York after 09:30. A lot depends on whether you would be coming back the same day or not.

I'd probably be staying at my bf's, so nah - wouldn't be coming back the same day...

Plan is basically, to get up there as much as I can, for as cheap as I can on a weekend/friday night...

Staying till Sunday Night/Monday Morning
