I was mooching about Real Time Trains looking for somewhere to go tomorrow and stumbled across this service - 2K09 1017 Newcraighall-Glenrothes via Kirkcaldy: looking at the difference between the WTT and public times it appears to be 2 or 3 mins at each stop past Edinburgh, does anybody know the reason for having such a large difference at every station? I'm assuming it's only a temporary measure as it's only scheduled for a month SO (presumably whilst the Glasgow-Aberdeen trains are diverted via Winchburgh) but found it interesting nonetheless, as I've never seen it for such a straightforward train (on the surface). Have they just kept the usual public times and have just altered the WTT to accommodate the diverted services?

Cheers
