The Ivor the Engine has arrived at Llangollen in readiness for his starring role over the weekend of 18-19 July.
Based on a Peckett 0-4-0ST it is a remarkable look-a-like for the star of the TV Series. It will be performing to crowds at Llangollen station on Saturday and Sunday with accompanying choirs and band in tune to his whistle. Jones the Steam will be on hand too with a specially commissioned song.
This is a first visit by Ivor to his home land of North Wales and a real Welsh welcome is planned starring as an item in the Llangollen Fringe programme too.
Ivor the engine is in concert with the Llangollen Male Voice Choir and the Llangollen Silver Band on Saturday 18 July at 7.30pm Tickets available from Llangollen Railway - 01978 860979.
