Italian Railways - Milan

I have added some pictures of Italian Railways to my flickr from the time of my visit earlier this year to the Italian GP. I know nothing about Italian railways and wonder if anyone can offer me anymore information on the trains shown

For starters, what you have captioned as ATR220 are in fact ATR125 railcars. The ATR125s are operated by Trenord and are of the Stadler (Switzerland)GTW family. Can't remember exactly which of Stadler's factories the ATR125s were built in but Stadler (once a minor Swiss vehicle body builder) have expanded spectacularly and have plants in Switzerland and Germany.

I traveled on the damn things and noted they were Stadler built now i have found my notes! I have changed the captions but your advice came first!

Thanks for the nudge in the direction of the website. Very helpful. As i said i know nothing at all about trains outside of the UK!
