That's a shame.
Hi, A couple of years back on an ALR I stayed at a great B&B in Inverness, Melrose Villa about 10 mins walk from the station and managed to do in a day, 09.04 Inverness to Kyle and return journey to Dingwall, then with about a 20 minute wait,(quick cuppa in the station cafe) caught the 14.20 ish service Dingwall to Thurso, I then had fish and chips for tea and had a cheap ticket booked on the last X99 (about 19.00) coach back to Inverness, a great day out.
