Interesting Diversion on the SWML

Just looked at JourneyCheck and seen this TfW MFH-MAN has been diverted 'between Swansea and Bridgend', and you can see the screenshot attached for the number of stations it won't be calling at.

I'm aware of the Ogmore Valley diversion between Bridgend and Cardiff, but is there another section of track (other than the Swansea bypass loop) that enables such a service to stay on the SWML but avoid these stations, or is it just running fast through them?

Thank you!

Looks like it skipped all of the booked calls between Swansea and Cardiff Central:

And according to CharlwoodHouse, it didn’t go off its booked route at all:

Someone has just incorrectly added "diverted" when sending out the customer message. It should have just been something like "will no longer call at A, B, C, D. This is due to overcrowding".

At Bridgend it could have theoretically been diverted via the Vale of Glamorgan line (via Barry) but I suspect it would have lost more time if it had (and indeed there were reports of it at booked stations early).

Interesting, thank you all.
