Hi guys im abit confused and need some help, on Tuesday im travelling down from Newcastle to Bradford to visit an office the company have provided me with my tickets. The tickets are "National Rail Anytime Returns" I've got 3 in total one has destination "From Newcastle To Bradford YK STNS" the other has "Bradford YK STNS To Newcastle" and the final ticket has "Newcastle To Leeds" written on it with a seat, coach number and Valid at 0745 Hours on 22.SEP.09 also on the card.

There's only one train from Newcastle destined to Leeds leaving at 7:45 do you think thats the train i have a seat reserved for?

Sorry if im coming across abit stupid and missing out the obvious its just its been years since ive been on a train and it was a one way ticket and im easily worried :lol:

Oh and this is the timetable i think work is going of (it's the same times they've given me.)

3rd "ticket" will be seat reservation other two are tickets "out" and "return"
and you change at Leeds for Bradford service with no booked reservation.
arrive Leeds 0908 next service to Bradford 0922 arriving at 0942

This sounds very much like you need to change trains at Leeds.
You have a reserved seat on the 0745 but I would think that there are no facilities for reserving seats on the Leeds-Bradford train, so you can get any train from Leeds heading to Bradford.
However, it seems that they haven't reserved you a seat going back to Newcastle.

That'll be right, your tickets are valid on any train , although at £59.40 it's overpriced.

Cheaper options in future are:
Newcastle-York Off Peak (Valid on any train) £33.70
York-Bradford Yk Stns Off Peak (Valid on any train) £14.40
Total = £48.10

You might just make the 0913 Man Vic train to Interchange if you're quick at Leeds. Next is the 0940 to Bradford Forster Square.

If you get to Newcastle a few minutes before your train, you may want to jump on the faster 0740 (which has wifi - useful if you have a laptop with you) and change at York for a slightly earlier TransPennine to Leeds, this gives you a few extra minutes at Leeds to make the connection onto the 0913.
