If you were the man/woman in charge of all British Railway STATIONS (unrealistic i know), WHAT would you do?
I would:
- Install live departures & arrivals at ALL Stations, no matter what size.
- Try and install as many systems as possible to keep passengers up to date with delays (links to top one)
- Drive incentives for brand names and convenience stores to open up in large-ish stations.
- If the station had once had 2 platforms, but only 1 is operational, I would make the station back into 2 platforms to improve system reliability.
- Modernise MAJOR Stations, especially in large-ish towns, and try and build a "transport interchange" with buses, taxis & trains.

That's all I can think of at the moment, what would you do?

NR stands for National Rail in this case. Hence the reason it says 'National rail Forums' as the category heading

i would make the whole automatic with no drivers so that no strikes could happen...

The main problem in trying to do that is that all the drivers would strike over losing their jobs so it would never really work...cool idea but I can't see it ever making fruition.
