Couldn''t the majority of LUL stock other than the S Stock be considered Misformed as the vast majority has been split and reformed alongside a different half set at some point in its life. I don't think I've seen a 72TS in its original as delivered formation ever.
Eg: 96034 should be formed with 96035 but is instead formed with 96064.
Traditional LUL stock has always been considered 'half sets', and it's only in recent years that the tradition has been broken. The S stock is the first 'truly' fixed-formation fleet, although in theory it could still be split and reformed if circumstances required. The 2009 stock are also
de facto fixed formation and are all in their original half sets; the 1995 stock largely the case also, with a handful of reformations. The 2024 stock will take the S stock logic further and is an entirely fixed formation train.
72, 73, 92 and 96 half (or quarter) sets are designed to be split, although for many years prior to refurb the 1996 stock did remain with their as-delivered partners due to some incompatibilities.
There are a few mismatched sets out there - most notably with the 72 and 73TS - but as is traditional on LUL the majority of these have been re-numbered to be in sequence, so aren't immediately apparent.

As mentioned, these aren't necessarily 'true' hybrid formations, but these trains are rarely reformed and can in practice be considered 'fixed formation'.

S stock
M2(D) car 25386 is now permanently part of unit 21324, the sole-remaining S7+1. This was built for S7 stock train 21386, but was reformed as part of the delays to delivery of Met line S8s. It was later made permanent as the 'extra' train for Watford Junction, and a new M2 car (23386) was built for 21386. Unusually for LU, the car retains its original number.
